Riverside Community Nursery School

Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.

Class FB Trip to Stover Country Park

The children had a wonderful day at Stover Park today. They went bug hunting in the woods and then made some beautiful pictures using natural materials. After a lovely lunch the children went pond dipping. We caught some 'water boat-men', a newt, several 'whirligig' beetles and some blood worms. At the end of the day the children had had a lovely and tiring time.
